Belt Testing & Champions Ceremony

April 9-12

Full Uniform Week

March 31-April 8

No Lessons Due to Testing & Ceremony
April 9-12

Belt Testing is an important part of every student’s martial arts journey. It’s a chance to demonstrate skills, earn the next belt, and celebrate progress.

Tiger Cubs (Ages 4-5)

Tiger Cubs follow a unique belt testing format that includes both their Belt Testing and Champions Ceremony on the same evening.

Here’s how it works:

  • Cubs arrive ready to test at their scheduled time.
  • After their testing, parents are invited inside for a brief Champions Ceremony.
  • During the ceremony, students are recognized and receive their new belts.

This combined format is designed to make the experience simple, exciting, and memorable for our youngest students and their families.

Juniors, Teens, and Adults (White Belt and Above)

All other ranks follow a traditional format with Belt Testing and Champions Ceremony on separate days:

  • Students will complete their Belt Testing on one day.
  • A few days later, we host a special Champions Ceremony where students are recognized and awarded their new belts.

This structure provides time for evaluation and allows us to give students the spotlight at the ceremony.

Belt Testing Schedule

IMPORTANT:  Come to the time for the belt you are wearing, not the one you are testing for.
